Descrizione:Simetryn is an antibiotic that is used to treat bacterial infections. It inhibits the growth of bacteria by binding to the 50S ribosomal subunit. Simetryn has been shown to inhibit the production of tumour necrosis factor-α (TNF-α) and serum enzymes, such as dismutase activity, in mice with lung cancer. This drug also has a toxic effect on respiratory system cells, which may be due to its ability to induce apoptosis. Simetryn has been shown to have synergistic effects when combined with anhydrous sodium and monoclonal antibody for use in a nutrient solution.
