Informazioni sul prodotto
- N-{[5-(dimethylamino)naphthalen-1-yl]sulfonyl}valine
- N-{[5-(dimethylamino)naphthalen-1-yl]sulfonyl}-L-valine
Dansyl-L-valine is a chiral derivatizing agent that can be used for the separation of amino acids and proteins. In addition, it can be used as an extractant. It has been shown to have a binding affinity for anionic solutes and can be used to measure the solute concentration in a solution. Dansyl-L-valine has also been shown to have thermodynamic properties that make it useful as a phase liquid chromatography (PLC) preparative. PLC is often used to separate compounds that are not easily soluble in organic solvent such as proteins, peptides, and amino acids.
