Descrizione:Cadmium oxide is a chemical compound that is used as an optical sensor. The optical properties of this substance depend on the thickness and purity of its film, with the optimum concentration at about 10 µg/cm2. Cadmium oxide can be used to measure water vapor through absorption at its peak wavelength of 637 nm. It also has been shown to have structural similarities to cadmium hydroxide and cadmium chloride, and so may be effective in treating hyper-hydrosis.
