3,9-Bis(1,1-dimethyl-2-hydroxyethyl)-2,4,8,10-tetraoxaspiro[5.5]undecane is a cyclic hydrocarbon that is used as a solid catalyst in preparative high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) for the separation of acetal and hydroxyapatite.
