Descrizione

Cycloxidim is a herbicide that inhibits the enzyme acetyl-CoA carboxylase, which is involved in the synthesis of fatty acids. Cycloxidim binds to a metal hydroxide and forms an inhibitor complex with the enzyme's active site, which prevents it from binding to acetyl-CoA. Cycloxidim has been shown to be effective in tumor treatment, as well as for inhibiting the growth of some fungi and bacteria. The herbicide has also been shown to inhibit the production of fatty acids in plants, which can lead to a decrease in plant height and weight.
