Repaglinide is an antihyperglycemic drug that is used for the improvement of glycemic control in diabetes. This drug acts on the beta cells of the pancreas and binds to specific receptors on the beta cells known as ATP-sensitive potassium channels. As a result, this promotes insulin secretion from beta cells.
