Descrizione:SGC0946 is a methyltransferase inhibitor that inhibits the methylation of DNA by inhibiting the activity of DNA methyltransferase. It is being developed for use in regenerative medicine to inhibit transcriptional regulation and pluripotent cells. SGC0946 has been shown to be effective in inhibiting cell factor and human serum methyltransferase, which are responsible for the production of monocytes. SGC0946 also inhibits the production of cytokines, such as IL-1β, IL-6, and TNF-α, as well as chemokines such as RANTES and MCP-1. This drug also inhibits the growth of infectious diseases such as HIV-1 and HCV by disrupting dna methylation.
