Descrizione

Verruculogen is a basic protein that belongs to the group of natural compounds. Verruculogen has been shown to induce toll-like receptor (TLR) in vitro and to have potent biological properties. Verruculogen was found to be active against infectious diseases, such as bowel disease, by inducing TLR2 and TLR4. This protein also induced mitochondrial membrane potential in the wild-type strain of etoac extract, which is a model system for studying mitochondrial function.
