Descrizione

Valsartan is an angiotensin receptor blocker that is used to treat hypertension and in combination with other antihypertensive agents. This drug works by binding to the angiotensin receptor 1 (AT1) and preventing angiotensin II from binding and exerting its hypertensive effects. This leads to a reduction in blood pressure and reduced cardiac activity.
