Descrizione:Methyl 10-methylhexadecanoate is a natural product that is used as an arbuscular mycorrhizal for the treatment of nematodes and soil-borne diseases. It is also used as a nematicide in treatments for plant roots. Methyl 10-methylhexadecanoate contains fatty acids and has been shown to have antihistaminic, enzyme activities, and saponin properties. It can be found in the rhizosphere of plants, but cannot be detected in their leaves or roots. Methyl 10-methylhexadecanoate has been shown to have hepatoprotective effects against liver damage caused by pesticides such as hexadecadienoic acid (18:2n6). This compound can be synthesized by organic reactions such as transesterification.
