Descrizione:2,4,5-Trimethylbenzophenone is a benzophenone derivative that acts as a stabilizer and antioxidant. It is used in the production of polyesters, polystyrene, and nylon 6. 2,4,5-Trimethylbenzophenone is also used to manufacture some vitamins and glycols. This product has been shown to inhibit the corrosion of iron by chlorides in water and air. When 2,4,5-Trimethylbenzophenone reacts with titanium or zinc chloride it generates an insoluble salt that prevents further corrosion from occurring.
