• Descrizione: H3B-6545 is an investigational drug that is a CDK4/6 inhibitor. H3B-6545 has been shown to inhibit the growth of breast cancer cells in preclinical studies. The mechanism by which H3B-6545 inhibits breast cancer cell growth is not fully understood, but it appears to be related to its ability to inhibit aromatase activity and affect the expression of epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR). The efficacy of H3B-6545 in patients with estrogen receptor (ER)-positive, HER2-negative metastatic breast cancer who have progressed following endocrine therapy or chemotherapy is currently being evaluated in a multicenter phase II study. H3B-6545 has also been shown to cause DNA mutations in vitro.
