Descrizione:
4'-Methylformanilide is an ethyl ester of 4-methylformanilide. It is a nucleophilic reagent that can be used in the synthesis of amides and anilines. The reaction is initiated by hydrolysis of the ester group, followed by nucleophilic attack on the carbonyl carbon atom. Dimethylformamide (DMF) is often used as solvent for this reaction, although it is not required. This reaction is efficient and can be completed in less than one hour with a high yield.
