Descrizione:
Hydroxyhexamide is a hypoglycemic drug that is used to treat diabetes. It works by increasing the amount of insulin in the body, thereby lowering blood glucose levels. Hydroxyhexamide can be used for long-term treatment to control blood sugar levels in people with type 2 diabetes. The drug has been shown to have an inhibitory effect on the activity of cytosolic protein kinase C (PKC), which may reduce inflammation and help prevent cancer. This drug also blocks HDACs and inhibits inflammatory cytokines, such as IL-1β and TNF-α.
