2,3-Dimethoxybenzeneethanamine is a drug substance that belongs to the class of amines. It has been shown to have proarrhythmic effects in animal studies, and has also shown hypotensive properties. 2,3-Dimethoxybenzeneethanamine inhibits the binding of phenylephrine to adrenoceptors in rat heart tissue.
