4-Fluorobenzil is a fluorinated aromatic compound that is used as a solvent for xylene and benzene. It can also be used in the preparation of dyes, photoresists, and other organic compounds. 4-Fluorobenzil is commonly used to remove chlorine from hydrocarbons or to replace chloroform in organic synthesis.
