Descrizione:FPL 62064 is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug that inhibits the synthesis of leukotrienes. It has been shown to have a safety profile in animals and humans, including an inhibitory effect on chronic lymphocytic leukemia. FPL 62064 has also been shown to modulate the biosynthesis of leukotrienes in adipose tissue by inhibiting lipoxygenase. It is not currently known if FPL 62064 will be effective against other types of cancer or diseases, although it may have potential as a treatment for myeloid leukemia.
