• Descrizione: ML-098 is a heat-shock protein that belongs to the family of regulatory proteins. It is an allosteric activator of the GTPase activity of the small G-protein RhoA, which regulates cell motility and gene expression. ML-098 has been shown to be a potent inducer of immune response in vitro and in vivo and has been proposed as a therapeutic agent for inflammatory diseases. ML-098 also inhibits HIV infection by inducing apoptosis, reducing viral load, and preventing HIV from entering cells. In addition, ML-098 binds to markers expressed at high levels in human lung cells (e.g., guanosine) and can be used as an antigen or molecular marker for lung cancer diagnosis.
