Informazioni sul prodotto
ARN 726 is a compound that binds to the endocannabinoid system and inhibits the enzyme fatty acid amide hydrolase (FAAH) which breaks down anandamide. This inhibition of FAAH leads to higher levels of anandamide in the brain, which produces antinociceptive effects. ARN 726 has been shown to be effective at reducing inflammatory symptoms in mice by modulating cytokine production. The expression of ARN 726 is localized in tissues that are affected by inflammation, such as the skin and stomach lining. The physicochemical properties of ARN 726 have been characterized by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS) and nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR). These studies revealed that ARN 726 is a carbamic acid derivative with a carbamate moiety and a probe for lipid targets that are expressed in the brain.
