Rhamnolipids C10-C10 are a surfactant that is used in pharmaceutical formulations. They are isolated from the fungus Aspergillus versicolor, and the mutant strain has been renamed FENGYCIN. Rhamnolipids C10-C10 have an inhibitory effect on the biosynthesis of fengycin, which is produced by the wild type strain.
