• Descrizione: 1-Hexanamine, N,N-dimethyl- is a chemical that has been shown to be cytotoxic to human cancer cells in vitro. It induces apoptosis by inhibiting the synthesis of nucleotides and DNA through the inhibition of adenosine deaminase activity. 1-Hexanamine, N,N-dimethyl- also inhibits the proliferation of human squamous carcinoma cells by inhibiting the production of endogenous adenosine and cyclohexane ring. 1-Hexanamine, N,N-dimethyl- has also been shown to inhibit the growth of yeast cells. The mechanism by which this drug inhibits yeast cell growth is not known.
