It has been shown to have minimal effect on other receptors. This agent has been shown to be an effective inhibitor of the bacterial enzyme phosphodiesterase 4 (PDE4) with IC50 values of 0.1 nM and 0.5 nM in human cells, respectively. It also inhibits the activity of the human PDE4D3 isoform with an IC50 value of 10 nM in vitro.
