Descrizione:3-Bromonaphthalen-2-amine is a reactive and unstable compound. It can be prepared by the reaction of hydrochloric acid with ethylene, methanol, or 1-4c alkyl chloride. The product can also be obtained by the treatment of aniline with chlorine gas in the presence of a catalyst. 3-Bromonaphthalen-2-amine is used as a raw material for synthesis of other compounds such as cyanoguanidine, imidocarbonate, and cyanamid. Reactions involving this chemical are not recommended to be carried out without proper protective equipment as it may cause severe irritation to the skin, eyes, and respiratory system.
