Protopseudohypericin is a mixture of hypericin and pseudohypericin. It is a natural product that has been shown to have insulin sensitizing effects in diabetic mice. Protopseudohypericin has been shown to improve metabolic disorders such as obesity, diabetes, and insulin resistance. Protopseudohypericin also has anti-inflammatory properties, which may be due to its ability to inhibit prostaglandin synthesis.
