The molecular docking studies have shown that this ligand interacts with the binding site on the integrin alphaIIbbeta3, which is responsible for the binding of a number of ligands. This compound has been found to be an affinity and potent inhibitor of platelet activation, which may be due to its inhibition of integrin alphaIIbbeta3.
