Descrizione:3-Hydroxybenzene-1-carbothioamide is a methanol derivative that is used to measure the concentration of thiobenzamide in solution. It has a linear calibration curve and can be used in reversed-phase, photometric, and chloride ionization modes. 3-Hydroxybenzene-1-carbothioamide is stable at least for 6 months when stored at room temperature. This compound can be used as an alternative to 3-(2-carboxyethyl)-5,6-dihydrothiazole (TCET) as it has been shown to give similar results with a reproducible response time.
