Descrizione:Rovazolac is an investigational drug in the class of hydrophobic pharmaceuticals. It has a profile that is competitive and safety profile that is good. This agent inhibits the expression of pro-inflammatory cytokines, such as IL-6, IL-8, and TNF-α. Rovazolac binds to intracellular targets, such as nuclear factor kappa B (NFκB) and protein kinase C (PKC), which are involved in the inflammatory response. Binding results in activation of G proteins and subsequent cellular signaling pathways that lead to inhibition of cytokine production.
