• Descrizione: 2-Amino-3-chloropyrazine is an active analogue of pyrazinamide, which is a potent antimycobacterial drug. It has been shown to have bacteriostatic activity against Mycobacterium tuberculosis in vitro and in vivo. 2-Amino-3-chloropyrazine has been shown to inhibit mitochondrial membrane potential, which may be due to its ability to inhibit hepg2 cell growth by decreasing intracellular ATP levels. It also inhibits the synthesis of bacterial DNA and protein, thereby inhibiting bacterial growth. 2-Amino-3-chloropyrazine has also been shown to have antitumor properties against mouse tumor cells. The pharmacokinetic properties of this drug are not well understood yet, but it has been shown that it can be detected in serum after administration
