Descrizione:Cis-1-Amino-2-tetralol is an oxazoline that can be synthesized by cyclizing a nitrile precursor, which has been hydrolyzed to remove the substituent. Cis-1-Amino-2-tetralol is optically active and can be synthesized in two different forms. The chiral center of the molecule can be either on the nitrile group or on the phenyl group. Cis-1-Amino-2-tetralol has been shown to bind to ligands with a conformationally rigid tetralin skeleton, such as 1,4,5,8 tetrahydronaphthalene (THN).
