Descrizione:3-Amino-5-methylpyrazole is an amide that forms a crystalline compound with copper(II) ions. The x-ray crystal structures of the copper complex with 3-amino-5-methylpyrazole were obtained. The nucleophilic reaction mechanism was proposed on the basis of the FTIR and x-ray diffraction data, which showed that the reaction proceeds via intramolecular hydrogen bonding. The hydrogenated product can be obtained by hydrolysis or acid treatment in acidic solution.
