Descrizione:1-(Allyloxy)-4-bromobenzene is a chemical compound that belongs to the class of ascorbic acid derivatives, which are organic compounds with at least one hydroxyl and one carboxylic acid substituent. This product has functions such as carbene and aromatization. The product can be synthesized by reacting 1-bromo-4-chlorobenzene with allyl bromide in the presence of sodium carbonate. The yield is 95% and it has been shown to have diffraction techniques, such as x-ray crystallography and electron diffraction. 1-(Allyloxy)-4-bromobenzene can also be reacted with chloroacetyl chloride to produce 1-(allyloxy)benzoyl chloride, which is an intermediate for phenylpropanoid synthesis.
