Descrizione:D-2-Aminodecanoicacid is a natural acylase inhibitor that is found in the soil. It has been shown to inhibit the enzyme acetone carboxylyase and chain length acylase, which are involved in bacterial growth and production of fatty acids. D-2-Aminodecanoicacid has also been found to be an enantioselective inhibitor of bacterial acetone carboxylyase. This drug hydrolyzes to L-alanine and 2-aminodecanoic acid, which can be used as a precursor for pharmaceuticals. The hydrolysis of this drug by enzymes may produce homologous products with different chirality or enantiomers.
