Descrizione:4-Azaindole is a heterocycle that is used in the synthesis of some fluorescent derivatives and as an intermediate in the preparation of other compounds. 4-Azaindole has been shown to have anti-inflammatory effects, which may be due to its ability to inhibit the production of prostaglandins by binding to the CB2 receptor. 4-Azaindole also inhibits the activation of certain neurons and blocks the release of acetylcholine from cholinergic synapses.
