ABA, as it is also known, (+)-cis,trans-abscisic acid controls the synthesis of proteins and other metabolytes, to regulate and manage the drought stress caused by environmental factors (Cardoso, 2020). Whilst, (+)cis,trans-abscisic acid is mainly controlling this process, is also involved in many other aspects related to the plant-water relations (Chen, 2019).
