The 5-Amino isoquinoline is a histological analysis that inhibits the growth of colon adenocarcinoma cells by inducing apoptosis. The cell-killing effect was observed in hl-60 cells, and was induced by 5-Amino isoquinoline through activation of adp-ribose, growth factor β1, and genotoxic activity. This compound also has inhibitory properties on colorectal cancer cells. Activation of epidermal growth factor (EGF) and titration calorimetry showed that 5-Amino isoquinoline inhibited cell proliferation in a dose dependent manner.
