Descrizione:Azinphos-ethyl is a chemical that belongs to the group of bicyclic heterocycles. It is an analog of phenylthiourea and is used in sample preparation for dispersive solid-phase extraction. Azinphos-ethyl has been shown to be effective against eye disorders, such as conjunctivitis and keratitis, when applied topically. The molecule binds to a monoclonal antibody that recognizes acetate extract, which is present in the eye. Azinphos-ethyl also binds to bacteria and fungi, preventing them from growing by inhibiting their protein synthesis. This drug has been used in vitro, but it is not active against all bacteria or fungi.
