Descrizione:Alkyl ether sulfate C12-14 is a surfactant that has been shown to be biodegradable and not toxic to model organisms. It is used in agrochemicals, such as pesticides and herbicides, to decrease the surface tension of water. Alkyl ether sulfate C12-14 has been shown to inhibit butyrylcholinesterase, an enzyme involved in the metabolism of neurotransmitters. This surfactant also inhibits the activity of iron oxides and inhibits the activity of regulatory enzymes.
