Descrizione

3-Acetyl-1-methylpyrrole is an activating agent that can be used to synthesize methyl ketones. It has been shown to react with acid solutions and proton, which are generated by the reaction of a metal ion (such as Al) with hydrochloric acid. This reaction leads to the formation of enolate ions, which can then react with carbonyl groups to form alkylation products. 3-Acetyl-1-methylpyrrole is also able to catalyze reactions in both acidic and basic conditions. The kinetic of this reaction is fast, efficient, and does not require expensive equipment.
