Descrizione:2-(Aminooxy)propane hydrochloride is a nicotine analog that has been used in molecular modelling studies. It has been shown to bind to the acetylcholine receptor, which is a membrane protein found on the surface of many types of cells. 2-Aminooxypropane hydrochloride may be used as a drug for the treatment of gram-negative bacteria such as Pseudomonas aeruginosa. This compound also binds to endogenous metalloproteinases and has been synthesised in an enantiomerically pure form.
