Descrizione

A secondary lichen metabolite (lichen acid) with depside structure. Present in many lichen families including Cladoniacae, Lecanoraceae, Parmeliaceae and Streocaulacae and extensively studied due to multi-directional biological properties. Found to have significant anti-bacterial activity as well as anti-inflammatory, analgesic and wound healing properties with a good safety profile.
