Informazioni sul prodotto
2-Benzoylcyclohexanone is a molecule that binds to the ligand binding site of protein kinases and inhibits their activity. This drug has been shown to inhibit c-jun n-terminal kinase (JNK) and pancreatic β-cells, which play a key role in the development of insulin resistance. It also inhibits DNA photophysical properties and has been used as a photosensitizer for photodynamic therapy. 2-Benzoylcyclohexanone inhibits transduction pathways by acting as a ligand for G protein coupled receptors, inhibiting downstream signal transduction cascades. The chloride anion coordinates with the benzoyl moiety through electrostatic interactions, which enhances its efficiency in inhibiting chloride channels.
