• Descrizione: 4-Bromopiperidine hydrobromide (4BPIH) is a compound that has been used in the past as an intermediate for the synthesis of other pharmaceuticals. 4BPIH has been shown to undergo fragmentation by ionizing radiation. The mechanism of this fragmentation is not entirely understood, but it appears that electrons are either added or removed from the molecule in order to form cations and anions.
