Informazioni sul prodotto
- Benzofuran, 3-Bromo-
3-Bromobenzofuran is an organic compound with a chemical formula of C8H6BrO. It has been used in the synthesis of several pharmaceuticals, including clopidogrel and ticagrelor. The elimination reactions of 3-bromobenzofuran have been extensively studied, which involve protonation, boronic acid addition, and nucleophilic substitution. Kinetic studies have shown that the reaction rate is dependent on the functional group present on 3-bromobenzofuran. The skeleton of 3-bromobenzofuran can be modified to produce aryl boronic acids or carbinols through a palladium-catalyzed coupling reaction with an aryl halide or chloride. This process can also be reversed to synthesize benzofurans from the corresponding aryl boronic acids or carbinols.
