Benzylhydrazine is a hydrazine compound that has inhibitory properties. It binds to the receptor and inhibits its activity. Benzylhydrazine is used in the treatment of autoimmune diseases and it has been shown to be effective against cerebellar purkinje neurons in rats. The benzylhydrazine-bound receptor may also have a role in other neurological disorders or drug addiction, as it has been shown to inhibit dopamine release from rat brain tissue. Benzylhydrazine is also used as a precursor to estradiol benzoate, which may have anticancer effects on breast cancer cells.
