Descrizione:Benfluralin is an herbicide that inhibits the growth of plants by interfering with the synthesis of fatty acids. It is applied to the surface of seeds as a coating, or dissolved in water and sprayed on leaves. Benfluralin is used in agricultural and industrial settings for weed control and crop protection. The chemical stability of benfluralin has been proven using an analytical method that detects the presence of benfluralin in a nutrient solution at concentrations as low as 0.1 ppm. This chemical has shown carcinogenic potential in animal studies, but not human studies.
