Descrizione:Benzylparaben is a preservative that is used to prevent the growth of bacteria and fungi in food and cosmetics. In wastewater treatment, benzylparaben is used to reduce odours and inhibit the growth of microbes. It has been shown to have an antioxidant effect on cancer tissues. Benzylparaben has been studied for its effect on redox potentials, antimicrobial agents, toxicity, and analytical methods. Toxicity studies have been performed on rats, mice, and human-derived cell lines. Docking analysis was performed with 3T3-L1 preadipocytes to determine whether benzylparaben interacts with proteins.
