Descrizione:Brodimoprim is a synthetic analog of trimethoprim, an antimicrobial agent used to treat various infectious diseases. Brodimoprim is a prodrug that is converted to trimethoprim in the body. Brodimoprim is effective against infections caused by bacteria that are resistant to other antibiotics and it has been shown to be safe for use in humans. Brodimoprim binds to bacterial DNA gyrase, inhibiting bacterial cell division and growth.
