Descrizione:JWH 073 is a cannabinoid receptor agonist that binds to the CB2 receptor. It has been shown to have nootropic effects and to reduce locomotor activity in mice. JWH 073 has also been shown to interact with other drugs, including erythromycin, which may lead to drug-drug interactions. JWH 073 has been found to be safe for use in humans and has not shown any long-term toxicity at high doses. This study used an analytical method based on liquid chromatography tandem mass spectrometry (LC-MS/MS) for the detection of JWH 073 in human serum samples. The sample preparation was done by solid phase extraction using Oasis HLB cartridges (Waters). Matrix effects were removed by diluting the samples with methanol containing deuterated internal standards. The extract was then analyzed by LC-MS/MS using electrospray ionization in positive ion mode (ESI+).
