Informazioni sul prodotto
- M-Bromobenzenesulfonamide
3-Bromobenzenesulfonamide is a sulfonamide that has been shown to be a selective inhibitor of the enzyme, cox-1. It is also a potent cross-coupler. In molecular modeling studies, the chloride group was found to be important for the activity of 3-bromobenzenesulfonamide as it provides a pharmacophore with an electrophilic center and an electron withdrawing effect. This compound has been shown to inhibit acylation reactions by competing with acyl donors for reaction sites on enzymes involved in acylation reactions. The product yield from this reaction is influenced by the substitution at the phenyl ring and by the presence of isozymes in different tissues.
