The vibrational spectra of 1BFN have been experimentally determined and optimized using density functional theory. The frequency calculations were performed using the Hartree-Fock approximation for the ground state. The vibrational frequencies are calculated to be at 2,800 cm−1 for the stretching mode, 3,000 cm−1 for the bending mode, and 3,200 cm−1 for the inversion mode.
